Services
AVAILABLE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, I am offering sessions both in person and telehealth through secure video-conferencing. Safety protocols are in place for in-person care.
Consultation Call
During the consultation call, we will speak for about 15 minutes to discuss your current concerns and why you are seeking therapy. I will answer any questions you may have about this process as well as ask you additional information to determine if I will be a good fit for you or your child. For example, if you describe issues that are not in my “wheelhouse”, I may explain this and provide alternate referral sources. My goal is to ensure that I can be helpful for you and your family before we begin and if not, to help you find a provider that can meet your needs for the best outcomes.
Fees
- Initial intake session: $220
- 50-minute therapy session: $175
- Therapy sessions are typically 50 minutes. I do offer 30 minute ($110) and 60 minute ($210) therapy sessions in certain situations and these are planned with you ahead of time.
- All other services will be prorated based on the hourly therapy rate of $210 and this will be discussed with you.
- Payment is due at the time of the session. Cash, personal checks, credit card and HSA cards are acceptable for payment.
- I will provide you with a detailed statement at the end of each month.
Cancellation and No-Show Policy
- Please provide 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your visit. If you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment, there is a $110 late cancellation fee.
- If you no-show to your appointment (no call or email prior to the visit), you will be charged the full session rate.
Additional Fees and Services
- If you become involved in legal proceedings that require my participation, you will be expected to pay for any professional time I spend on your legal matter, even if the request comes from another party. I charge $375 per hour for professional services I am asked or required to perform in relation to your legal matter.
- The fee for copying records is 50 cents per page, plus a $30 handling fee as well as shipping costs.
Insurance
I am an Out-of-Network provider as I do not accept insurance, Medicare or Medicaid, nor do I submit claims to insurance companies, Medicare or Medicaid.
I provide a monthly statement that you may submit directly to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Please note, insurance companies have many rules and requirements specific to certain plans. Some insurance plans may not cover video conferencing or telehealth sessions. To learn more about reimbursement, call your insurance company directly to discuss your out-of-network benefits.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
- You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
- Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
- Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
